we are all Spicy Grrrls

After a girls trip to New Orleans, friends and fellow food lovers Maddy and Steph came to a realization. Of all the hot sauces they had tried and owned; most of them were either all vinegar, all xanthan gum, or so hot you couldn’t taste anything else. There had to be a balance - hot sauce that celebrated food and it’s diversity. So they decided to make their own. By they, we mean we. And we did. Thus Cajun Queen came to be, using Maddy’s New Orleans native family Cajun Spice recipe (thanks, Mimi). Spicy Grrrls was born.

We believe everyone can be a Spicy Grrrl, and strive to cultivate an inclusive, waste free, celebratory product.

All recipes are created by Maddy and Steph, and all art is done by Maddy. All ingredients are all-natural, gluten free, vegan (or bee-gan if local honey is included), nut free, and as local as available.
